Hello comrades,

This evening our ciorcal comhrá will be taking place upstairs in Chaplins from 6! If you’re around beforehand, try to drop over to City Hall for a protest in support of the preservation of the Triple Lock. The protest will be running from 5 until 7 and a few of us will be there in support!

Our Capital reading group will be meeting tomorrow evening, and our Care & Community group will be meeting on Thursday to discuss the Jodi Dean’s Comrade.

If you’re stuck outside a venue and/or can’t find us, we now have a club phone! So please fire a message/WhatsApp to 087 005 4389 if you’re having trouble finding us okay? x

And guess what? New members are always welcome! In fact, your lovely little face appearing at our group will bring joy into the hearts of our lovely little organisers!

Medium Cool (dir. Haskell Wexler, 1968)

Watch on YouTube!

John Cassellis is a television news cameraman. He and his sound recorder dispassionately film images of car accidents rather than help the victims. Cassellis is seemingly hardened to ethical and social issues; he is more concerned with his personal life and pursuing audience-grabbing stories. Yet once Cassellis finds out that his news station has been providing the stories and information gathered by the cameramen and news journalists to the FBI, he becomes enraged.
