Hello our good and glorious comrades,

We’ve got a busy November ahead of us, with both of our reading groups having sessions (looking at Militarism, Art & Cultural Institutions, and Community & Third Spaces), a special event (Intro to Imperialism) with Patrick Bresnihan and Rory Rowan at Bohs, and a field trip (!!) to IMMA!

Our Militarism & Neutrality and Care & Community sessions are drop in (and reading is below!), but our special events do require registration!

For the day trip to IMMA, please register here so we have an idea of numbers!

You hate imperialism? Us too! And guess what? We think you’re going to love our seminar on “Introducing Imperialism”!

Over two hours, we will be looking at imperialism through a Marxist lens, touching on topics like [insert themes for standalone seminar] (Yes, you’ll be reading a little bit of Lenin! 😎)

The reading will have an international focus and we think it will serve as a great foundation for people who have been wanting to learn that bit more about imperialism but haven’t quite known where to start.

You’ll be saying things like ‘super exploitation’ and ‘core-periphery’ in smoking areas before you know it! It’s! Gonna! Be! Good!
